Now that I have officially "Baffled" the squirrels (seems they were using the pole like a fireman due to the baffle!) my bird table is now a sequire place. I put on all sorts, although none of them like meal worm! I have more on the floor than the bird table! I love watching them and they all wait on the fence and the large hawthorn tree we have for others to leave....love it! I LOVE my bird feeder! And I so enjoyed reading about them. In London birds, very sadly, are becoming increasingly rare visitors to my garden even though I try to encourage them as much as possible. In writing my new blog, having been encouraged to do so by friends, my hope is to develop a circle of like minded individuals. I shall follow your future posts with interest.
